AND IT'S NOT JUST THE SENIOR WOMEN WHO WIN…

The women's win at the Adur Head was the third win so far this year for Gravesend.

On January 14th, two of the club's senior men won the double sculling title at the Maidstone Head race postponed from December 3rd due to bad weather. Both excellent single scullers, Michael Russell (former Doggett's Coat and Badge winner) and Shaun Martin (seen here in the stroke seat) raced their way to 7th place overall, winning their first title since teaming up in the double.

On March 11th, Rachel Rickwood won the women's J16 single sculling event at the Medway Head, her first rowing title and the second win of the year for Gravesend. After learning the basics at Gravesend, Rachel is now also a member of Maidstone Invicta RC where she gets excellent coaching as part of their junior squad.
