Sad day for Gravesend
Rowing Club.
The club flag is now flying at half mast due to the following
news.
Mike Pullen (Secretary GRC) passed away early Thursday morning (14/03/02).
Our hearts go out to his Wife Margaret and his two daughters Jane and Sally.
Mike had a distinguished rowing career with Gravesend and will be missed by
all the clubs past and present members.
He will not only be missed by our club but others in the South such as Erith,
Maidstone Invicta, MedwayTown Rowing Clubs and the many boat builders he visited.
The Sport
has lost a real gentleman who always gave tirelessly for the good of rowing.
Today all rowers are poorer for his sad loss but we were honoured to have him
as a friend and most importantly in our sport!
