On the 24th April 2004, a crew from Dittons Skiff & Punting Club beat the current record for rowing the length of the navigable Thames which had previously been held by Lower Thames Rowing Club containing 2 of our club members (Neale Gilhooly and Charlie Willson).

At the end of this marathon row, the crew came back to Gravesend RC to get the boat out of the water and to have a well earned shower and drink.

In true Gravesend RC style, members of the club came down to see the boys in and have a drink with them...among them were Neale and Charlie.
